Yeah so I havent posted in a grip...

So a lot of things have been happening since I last posted, don't really know where to start. I will start with the most recent. I have started running again, well kind of again. Oh I am getting married April 24th 2010 and I need to lose some weight forsheez. So yeah, I have been needing to get in shape for some time. I have really let my self go gradually since high school. What can I say I love the the fattier alcohol related things in life. So we bought a treadmill last week and since we have had it, I have ran 6 miles. Yeah 6 miles! Yeah 6 miles, I haven't ran in almost 3 years. I haven't ran since I broke my leg golfing. Uh huh I broke my leg golfing that's a different story. If you want to hear it you will have to buy me a beer sometime and I will tell you how glorious it was. Any-hoozle I was running every night back in 2005 after work. Not sure how far I was running but It felt good anyway. I know it wasn't a constant run because I would get a lot of back pain so I would have to stop a lot and stretch or try and walk it off. Back to present day. I was kind of worried that the back pain would come back and hinder the work out. But so far it has gone really well. The first night of running my back started to tense up but I stretched it and haven't had any problems since. I am feeling really good when I run. I mean I thought I was way more out of shape than I must really be. I am able to run 2 miles straight through and feel pretty damn good. I quit smoking sometime last summer (wow it has been that long already) I will still have a few if I am drinking but I was smoking a lot and for a long time. Probably like 10 years hard core. Anyway, best yet the last time I was at the doctor, which I think might of been last summer I weighed 219. I weighed myself yesterday and I am down to 200. I am pretty sure the new weight is accurate. I have weighed myself on different scales and they all say the same thing...200. I would like to get to 185 by the wedding. That is pretty ambitious but if I am running 2 miles now every other day than that has to amount to something. I am hoping that as time goes on and my schedule opens up a bit more I will be able to run more and longer. I really want to drop this weight and get back to my large t-shirts I have been saving, saying I will fit into them one day. I haven't really changed my diet at all. I do pay closer attention to my portions but we do eat pretty healthy with an occasional fast food for lunch and or dining out. So anyway yeah, I have been enjoying running and have looked forward to it after work which is surprising as hell and I hope I can keep it up. If I do actually start to lose some weight and more importantly this gut I will be bragging on here. I don't know if I am typing to myself, because I dont know who reads this. But I will post it...for...you?
So yeah that is the update. Oh one more thing. I have been really busy at work which is good. I am glad to still have a job and to be busier than ever is a great thing. I have taken on way more responsibility, which is good. I have been developing more products like custom clothing, racing socks, a back pack and some race wear a long with designing a ton of print. It is all really good experience and a lot of fun. I think I am pretty spoiled to be able to work on the projects I do. I know it could be a lot more boring. It has its ups and downs but for the most part it is a pretty sweet gig, I shouldn't complain, things could be worse. I know when times get tough I need to remember how good I really have it. I would love to post some work on here but my company frowns upon it. I asked and they said no. Could just post it but...I am trying not to get fired here folks, after I tell you about how good my job is going. I can take pictures of certain things and post it, so I might do that when it presents it self it hasn't yet but it will.
So yeah I have to bowl tomorrow in a tournament, that should be interesting. 8 pin-tap tournament that I should bowl a 850 respectively on a Saturday where spirits will be flowing like the rivers of Rock. Maybe, probably I wont bowl that well. Oh well. Plus WI is expecting 3-6 in. of snow tomorrow. Uggh I am sick of winter already.
